How to relax properly

After a really exhausting day at the university and studying at home (seriously), I decided to relax a little bit before going to bed. I was thinking for a while what to do - should I go out or rather stay at home? I decided to stay at home and watch a movie.. My favourite movie shall it be.
Have you heard of Stand by Me? If not, go on reading:

The film tells the story about four boys who go on a short adventure trip. After reading the newspaper, the boys Gordie Lachance, Chris Chambers, Teddy Duchamp and Vern Vessio are enthusiastic about the idea finding that little boys body.

The film is about friendship, andventure and the little moments you enjoy in your youth. I was little when I first watched it and after that, all I wanted was to go on a trip like this and explore nature. This was my big dream, and in fact, still is. The urge of travelling around the world and discover new things never left me and probably also never will. I admire everyone who has experienced the feeling of on their own and free.

Untill then I am stuck in Graz, studying for the next PC and daydreaming ...

Something for the Heart

If you are looking for a pleasant way to spend a few days in summer, I suggest you to go on a festival I have been to five times already - Acoustic Lakeside

It's been taking place since 2005 and is located in the countryside of carinthia. The place where it takes place is a small lake, hidden in the woods near the Slovenian border.
The music played there is - as the name tells you - acoustic and the genre is mostly IndieRock.

The festival lasts two days, and it's one of the best festivals I have ever been to! The music, the people, the fact that you can go swimming and even the food are absolutely amazing.

Take a look at these videos and I bet you fall in love with the lakeside like everyone else who was there ...

My experience is that once you go there you won't be able to NOT go there ever again. ;)

The Beginning

Hello and welcome to my blog!

This is my first blog and I will try to enlighten your days with my weekly posts. So, who am I?
My name is Alma and I study at the department of translation in Graz. I like to travel, go to festivals, eat and drink, but also I love to take myself some lazytime with my fiends.. These are basically the things I want to talk about. Also I intend to add some serious and more sophisticated posts to my blog!

If you are wondering why I named my blog Burn Your fingertips, I'll clear it up for you: I burn my hands and fingertips all the time, so I found it accurate.
