Hometown

Hello there, I am back again! After a few really exhausting weeks I am posting again :)
I want to tell you something about a small town in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Jajce (engl: egg) is a small town in the middle of bosnia and also the birth town of my parents and brothers. Jajce is also known as the „kings-town“ of Bosnia where all the kings reigned during the medieval ages before it was conquered by the Osman empire.

It has two lakes – one really big and mostly used for water sports, the other one is for swimming. The second lake is called „Brana“ and it originates of a well, therefore its temeperature is ubelievably cold. You can also find different animals who join you during a swim, like snakes. It's better to run when you see one, because you never know what they are up to.
Despite of the population of Jajce, it still is a great place to see, it is both classic and more or less modern. The diversity of people living there is immense. The people living in Jajce come from everywhere and also come from every social step.

I have been there several times due to the fact that my father's parents and also a lot of other relatives still live there. In Jajce everyone knows everyone and it seems like that everyone is related somehow - weird. (Wonder how hard it is to find someone to get married to).
I love this town and also would love to go there more often, but unfortunately there is no time for that in the next few moths... I don't relly know why, but I even like the 7 hour car ride as well. Maybe because the excitement grows the closer you get.
I don't want to tell you too much about it so you can see it for yourselves :)
