Mighty Oaks

Today I'm going to tell you something about an amazing band i discovered recently... the Mighty Oaks. I went to a concert of a musician called Charlie Cunningham, who played right before the Mighty Oaks. I didn't even bother to listen to some of their music before attending the concert. My friend and I watched them without expecting anything. And it was absolutely impressive!!! I had goose bums from the first to the last minute of their set and afterwards as well. I am not easily being impressed, but this was one of the most amazing concerts I have ever experienced. 

They are a German alternative folk trio made up of Ian Hooper, Claudio Donzelli and Craig Saunders. They formed in 2010 and are based in Berlin. 1since then they have been quite popular in many European countries and also gain more and more success overseas.

The group releases largely acoustic-driven folk anthems and though the songs cover diverse topics they periodically reference the Pacific Northwest of North America, where Hooper is from.
